Tuesday Night Doubles/Stick Curling

Doubles Curling We started this great version at Liverpool Curling Club during the 2017/2018 season to much success. If you haven't tried doubles yet, this is your year! It is a chance to play all positions during each end! You can hone your skills in shot making, sweeping and strategy. The game only takes about 1-1/4 hours to play and is a great workout.

What is Doubles Curling?

Stick Curling Happening concurrently will be our Stick Curling. For those that don't have the mobility to get down in the hack or prefer not to be slipping and sliding but still want to experience this great Canadian game! Stick Curling is the game for you. Lots of competitive leagues are popping up around the country, we will focus on the social and entertainment value but that doesn't mean you can't bring your competitive spirit!

Stick Curling is a great way to encourage and promote the growth and development of curling for all abilities. This is a 2-person game that provides a competitive and recreational opportunity.

There is a steadily increasing population of curlers who are having to leave the game of curling due to age, injury, or health. The Canadian Stick Curling Association intends to excite those curlers to return back to the game by participating in the 2-person stick curling programs across the country, thereby fostering a feeling of worth and belonging as an active curling club member once again.

Each team member alternates in skipping an end which offers a chance to hone your game calling skills.

We will be looking to enter Stick Curling Bonspiels with other clubs this season as well.
